How to install the VPN (Cisco Anyconnect Secure Mobility Client)

The VPN will allow you to work remotely and access your Davey files and software away from the office.

The VPN client will not work in a Davey office. You must be remote to sign in or use the VPN.

The VPN cannot be downloaded on a personal computer. This is only for Davey issued laptops.

 

Process

  1. Check to make sure you do not already have the VPN installed by doing a search in Windows for the word Cisco.

If you see the match Cisco AnyConnect  Secure Mobility Client please follow these steps to start using the VPN software.

2. If you do not have the VPN installed try a Windows search for "Software Center":

Click on Software Center to open the App.

3.  In Software Center you will see an Install for Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility Client:

Click on this icon and choose "INSTALL"

4. Once it is downloaded go back to search and type in Cisco to bring up the app. Right-Click the app and choose to pin it to your task-bar or start menu so it is quick and easy to find.  This is an optional step as you can always do a search to open the software.
